Civil Engineering Testers

Tinius Olsen offers a wide range of hydraulic compression testing machine technologies with capacities from 0 to 5000 kN (0 to 1124k lbf). Tinius Olsen has extended and expanded its product offering to the Civil Engineering community with its new range of sample collection, sample preparation and specimen testing equipment that is designed specifically for concrete; asphalt; cements, lime, plaster and mortar; and sand, aggregate and fillers. Each category has its own unique series of tests and corresponding specialist equipment.

These machines include manual (DG Series) and fully automatic (FA Series w/ Horizon software) testing solutions. All of the equipment offers a fully welded construction with a top crosshead, base, and solid side walls. The precision ground hydraulic piston is fixed to the base and the machine’s platens are hardened, ground, and polished. The upper platen also comes with self-aligning capability.
